My midseason

Northeast Division

1. Connecticut Blaze - Nobody in this division is even going to touch them let alone the conference. Colorado here they come.

2. Long Island 495'ers - Thompson and Mosenson are doing a phenominal job carrying this team.

3. Boston Swamp Rats - Last years champs. Last years news.

4. Massachusettes Bombers - Take way to many penalties to survive.

5. Marple Gladiators - College roller hockey is far more important to these guys.

6. Hartford Fire Ants - Would have made the playoffs in almost any other division.

Atlantic Division

1. NJ Grizzlies - Wins over the Growl make them the favorite

2. Philadelphia Growl - Losses to the Grizzlies burned them

3. Feasterville Fury - Dump their trash and now are rising as a force just a little to late

4. Aston Demolition - Tough schedule to finish the season but will sqeuak into the playoffs.

5. NJ Stampede - Overmatched in a solid division

6. NE Philadelphia Revolution - Need to keep their number 1 goalie in net to withstand blowouts

Mason Dixon Division

1. Harrisburg Lunatics - Mazer and company will prove their strength

2. Pittsburgh Bandits - Excellent coaching carries this team

3. Scottsdale Inferno - Will finally not miss the playoffs on the last day

4. Maryland Knights - New team and new to the playoffs

5. Potomac Mavericks - Can really only beat Winchester and Savanah

6. Winchester Generals - Them or Savanah who wins????

Southeast Division

1. Richmond Robins - Easy division means playoffs for the first time

2. South Carolina Pirates - Will probably knock richmond out for their division

3. Raleigh Assault - Good luck against the rest

4. York Typhoon - Division move is a cheap way to get in the playoffs

5. Savannah Stingers -Winchester or themselves????

Gateway Division

1. Midwest Tornadoes - Got to take out Colorado team to get to National Final

2. St. Louis Cobras - # 2 in a solid division. Close but not enough

3. Southside Snipers - Will give their St louis brothers a run for the money.

4. Chicago Untouchables - Rough start of season killed their dreams

5. River City Whalers - Chicago took out the all St louis gateway playoffs

6. Cinncinati Flying Monkeys - Another long year

Rocky Mountain Division

1. Colorado Springs Thunder - CJ WINS BIG GAMES

2. Lakewood Fire - Can not beat Cj

3. Westminster Blizzard - Can not beat Cj

4. Parker Prowlers - Can not beat Cj

5. Fort Collins Catz - Can not beat Cj

Pacific Division

1. San Jose Pirates - Tight Division but seems to be running away with it

2. Nor Cal Mustangs - Could possibly win this division

3. East Bay Jawz - CJ Gamble needs to show them how they did it with the Bandits

4. Sacremento Saxons -MLRH and XIHL days are gone

Southwest Division

1. Arizona Strike - Top team by far

2. Phoenix Dragons - Fire can't put a tough bombing

3. Tuscon Desperadoes - At least they can steal the black diamonds

4. El Paso Black Diamonds - Need to rebuild for next year

Lets here your thoughts boys

Lets here your thoughts boys

You ask for thoughts and hear are mine. You obviously have no clue about my team or any of the others for that matter. Way to basically copy the standings and paste them with your lovely comments.

Dumped their trash????? Who are you kidding.

The Fury deactivated 2 players from their team. Carmello Stracuzzi and Gary Kull would be an asset to any team in this league. The reason they are no longer playing with us was that they did not fit into our program. These guys are 2 of the nicest people you will ever meet and are both very talented hockey players. I would never refer to them as trash.

There is still half a season left and I would like to personally invite you any of my teams practices since you think our push is to little to late. I hope we not only surprise you but many others as well.

clearly he doesn't know much about anything with most of the teams.

According to these mid season predictions the Growl should pack it in, because we lost two tight games to a good up and coming team. That makes sense, i'll call the boys, have them cancel the games...

how about an assessment of the teams so far? that would read a little easier then these make shift sentences you wrote.

Southwest Division

1. Arizona Strike - Top team by far

2. Phoenix Dragons - Fire can't put a tough bombing

3. Tuscon Desperadoes - At least they can steal the black diamonds

4. El Paso Black Diamonds - Need to rebuild for next year

Lets here your thoughts boys

I can't understand how you can say that the AZ Strike is the top team by far when they play the Dragons to a split series every single time they play. I also don't know how you can say that El Paso needs to rebuild for next year when they are a very young team and are just starting to learn how to play at a high level. Every time the Dragons have played the Strike, the Dragons have been without their full roster. In the end, (in my prediction), the Dragons will win this division

I don't care if you say we, Dragons, are going to win the Southwest but it's far from the truth to say either us or the Strike are "by far" the best team. Either team can win and our division will likely be decided in the final minute of the final game of the Division Final series.

On another note though, I appreciate what you're trying to do, getting talk started on all the divisions. As far as know this league isn't on ESPN yet so naturally predictions about far away divisions will be full of speculation.

I guess I'll give some predictions too since that's what you asked for, not just complaints about why our teams should be given more respect, haha...

Northeast
Seems Connecticut Blaze is pretty set to come out of this division. Still haven't lost in regulation which is pretty damn impressive.

Atlantic
NJ Grizzlies have given Philadelphia Growl some scares early on, but I still think the Growl will come out of this division on top. Experience wins out.

Mason Dixon
Gotta like Harrisburg Lunatics here, definitely some teams to challenge but Lunatics still seem like the top team to me.

Southeast
I'm going to say South Carolina Pirates here, with Genest and Anderson in the lineup they seem pretty tough to beat in that division.

Gateway
No way I can bet against the 1 loss Midwest Tornados. Games always seem close in this division so you can't really count out Southside, St. Louis, or Chicago, but still think Midwest will win out.

Rocky Mountain
Every now and then I get thinking maybe someone can pull the upset on Colorado Springs Thunder, but then again, probably not. They'll win the division.

Pacific
San Jose Pirates seem to be quick risers in this division, gonna say they beat NorCal Mustangs to win the division.

Southwest
It'll be Phoenix Dragons or Arizona Strike. Really evenly matched, will go down to last minute of last game and either team will have chance to do damage at Conference Finals.

The Grand Finale
Increasingly wild speculation...
East is crazy, Blaze, Growl, Lunatics, and Pirates as division winners makes for an intense Conference Finals. Every round goes the max 3 games any team could win but the Growl will win.

West has more heavyweights, San Jose and Southwest division winner can do damage but gotta say Thunder and Tornados come out on top. That's a wild conference final but gonna say Yoder's Thunder pulls it out.

PIHA Final - Colorado Springs Thunder vs. Philadelphia Growl.
I just can't make myself bet against Yoder, Ciolli, and Yingling. Definitely a close series, Thunder win it in...6 games. Maybe 7.

Go ahead and pick me apart now, haha. Just remember, I didn't even say my team will undoubtedly win our own division..

we missed one set of games for a single elimination playoff game, it has nothing to do with what we think is far more important. its not our fault a team would rather play against 3 pro guys and not even our best minors since they are all 16, just to 4 earn points.

dan,

yeah i know what you mean, it's a tough call, i wouldve went to the college hockey game too, in an ideal world i think it would be better if you play college hockey that you can't play PIHA. PIHA should work with the NCRHA and join forces, making PIHA something for the college players to strive for.

piha did a good job trying to work around our regular season as much as possible but i guess there was bound to be a conflict somewhere, piha will be around for a longtime but you only get 4 years to play for your college. next year shouldnt be a problem, with the amount of people graduating if there is a conflict we should still be able to field 2 full lines

Hey Dan... Nobody said we planned on having your entire team at NCRHA ya know? All of us learned of your roster being totally short basically an hour before the game. So it's not that we "would have rather played against a team of 3 Pro's" it's how the schedule worked out. Don't blame us for that one.

Dan,

Also to make you aware the person who scheduled your team rejected my offer to have you guys play us the Feasterville Fury at home this past weekend or on February 2nd so you could have all your guys there.

and maybe a bit bias here, but Potomac has beat (with the exception of Pittsburgh) each team in the Mason Dixon, as well as, York and Richmond.

So how it can be posted that we can only beat Winchester and Savannah, I dont agree with.

Plus, when Pittsburgh comes to town, it will be a good one.

One thing is for sure, The Mason Dixon will be a close race to the final 3 and 4 seeds.
