your final four could be screwed up if any of those teams gets a 2 seed in the Lindenwood Bracket...

If all those teams you have in the final four go 5-0 in the round robin, who gets the number one seed on the other side of Lindenwood, Michigan State or UMSL
MSU has two loses, the MCRHL regional championship and three wins over eastern
UMSL has two losses and would guess a third loss to Lindenwood in the GP tourney
?

Since when is there 5 round robin games?
I would say if they all went 3-0,
1A - Lindenwood
1B - Michigan State
2A - Eastern Michigan
2B - UMSL

Gripper,
I think your picks are good except the order of finish Eastern is a much better team than Michigan State . Eastern dominated the 1st game State was extremely lucky in winning that game and the 2nd game Eastern was so tired they couldn't play. The games they were supposed to be played later but the D11 teams dropped out so the league moved the game up the next time the 2teams play Eastern will remember . Eastern might be the best team in the Nation this year they have a couple of players that are the best I have ever seen they have a great knowledge of the game .:)

How can you claim a team with 9 losses might be the best in the nation when there are several teams with less than that. If it was one or two losses, ok, that could be argued, but 9? C'mon man

Yea BIG rivalry between MSU & EMU ...2nd to last game the zebras called 30 penalties in one game. 17 penalties for EMU and 13 for MSU. EMU was up by four goals but as you can see the refs and penalties can change the outcome of the game. On a side note I checked the last LU game vs UofM St l and LU has all roughing penalties. Looks like college hockey is getting very serious......:):):):)

ARMY,
Eastern has added new players that put them over the top watch them 9 loses early on means nothing the end of the season tells it all they have great coaching. Eastern is very good :) They could very well be the best in the nation. Most of Eastern loses were in the first half of the season before the new players came in.:)

I could see why Army Defense made the point that he did, but you have to also take into consideration about how teams may have acquired players.
My dispute is regarding “GripperWheels” and others that have this Midwest and Great Plains bias. Lindenwood, UMSL, MSU, EMU are all great teams that play competitive, but you can't forget others teams that pose a threat to these four teams. Teams like UC Irvine, Stony Brook, Buffalo, Towson, URI, Florida, UNT, and Col. State, all won there divisions respectively and to say that those four teams will end up as the final four is too naive. Only one of those teams are undefeated. And the others are just as even as the teams that I have named. I know I might not see every region well, but at the end of the day the national title is up for grabs, and Lindenwood will not make easy for ANYONE.
Also I keep hearing how ranked #11 EMU will be in the final four.
They made a cross-regional trip to the east for the weekend:
Scores
EMU 5 v Rhode Island 5
EMU 7 v Pittsburgh 4
EMU 5 v Rutgers 3
EMU 4 v Hofstra 3
Nothing earth shattering.
The point I'm trying to make is that there will be competitive hockey in April at Col. Springs.

ok first of all....eastern is not better then msu...eastern added 3 new guys (only 1 of them is DECENT) msu went 3-1 against eastern during the season and that game that eastern beat msu was a very lucky game in favor of eastern. If anyone really knew about both teams then you obviously wouldn't say eastern was the better squad.
