Over the weekend I heard from this group about bringing an inline roller hockey team from India to New York City to play against the Manhattan Roller Hockey League (the league I run). Someone named Vishwaraj using the email address
[email protected] contacted me about having their team play in our whole upcoming season (April through late June) or at least playing some exhibition games against our teams.
The Krishna Academy Of Aesthetic Games has no website (when I asked I was told it was "under construction") and there's almost no other mention of them elsewhere on the web.
Has anyone else heard from this organization or know anything about them?

Hi siberian khatru,
Yes, I've heard from Vishwaraj, and he's been trying to post on IHC, but there's been a problem because of IHC's spam filter. Apparently, a lot of spam comes from his server.
Anyway, my understanding is that he's legit, and we should see a post on site from him soon.
Thanks for the heads up.

Richard: Thanks for the response. I kept telling Vishwaraj my league already has the maximum amount of teams for the Spring season but he kept asking about bringing his team from India to New York and playing weekly games for the entire season (early April through late June). Seems like an awful long way to go and get set up for three months just to play ten games against my guys. That and his asking me to supply documents to help his team through the visa process kind of spooked me. Then I found out he also contacted HNA about playing games against their teams.
I'm all for advancing the sport and I'd do anything I can to help out teams from other countries. Not finding anything on the web about this group and his persistence in playing more than a weekend of exhibition games made me suspicious. If KAAG is indeed a legitimate organization then they and Vishwaraj have my apologies and I wish them good luck.

Hi Siberian Khatru,
I try to give everyone a fair shake. Heaven knows there have been a lot of people in this sport who've appeared legitimate and turned out to be full of hot air... or worse.
However, I figure if someone's talking about coming from India to play inline hockey in the United States and will have to pay for airfare and hotels...
