Everyone is counting out Chicago already after one weekend, which happened to be our first weekend in PIHA.? Its all good because I like being the underdog, but in case any of you were wondering we have yet to play a game with our full team. Dan Constanza missed all of our first weekend, vince free didnt make the two games against the cobras, mytnik and purpura 2 of our better forwards missed both games against the snipers, our goalie Tiltges was out with a groin injury for the entire weekend, and we got screwed on about a million penalties by the st. louis refs. For example in our second game against the cobras we had 32 minutes in penalties, which is more time than there is in the game, and the cobras scored 6 of their 7 goals on power plays at least two of which were scored on 4 on 2's. In our second snipers game we were only down 4-3 with a little over a minute left when we got a two many men on the floor penalty when we pulled our goalie and they scored an MT net goal to win 5-3. That is just some stuff to think about before counting us out already. Those were our first games against two teams that have played 14 games together already this season, not including all of last season. Once we get our full squad out their and iron out a few details we should suprise a few people. Hopefully we will prove all of you wrong this weekend and the rest of the season. I am not ruling out the Chicago team, but I can tell you it is hard to bet against a team at 13-1. Sort of like asking me to take the Giants this weekend with no point spread.
