suspensions

i was just browsing through the PIHA website's suspensions list. and i noticed at the bottom is a hefty suspension of 32 games for a player from the Bombers. i'm not trying to raise the dead and get blood boiling or anything, just wondering what warrents a suspension that huge for this league? too many fights i'm guessing?

Ya I agree, a 32 game suspension is alittle harsh but in reality it is a 70 game suspension. Ryan was suspended after game 8 last season for the Boston Roller Rats for an off court incident involving a few players & a referee. So he was suspended the remaining 24 regular season games + 14 playoff games + this entire season 32 games...and if my math is correct 70 games total (plus any playoff games this season if the Bombers qualify). We were hoping the 38 games last season & not being part of the playoff run would be enough for his actions but the league shot him down this year too. Ryan is a great kid & skilled player, just a young kid that got himself in a bad situation. So he's looking forward to hopefully being reinstated next season.
