Just wondering how you can rank a team such as the Phoenix Dragons who have not played a game yet this season, nor do they have any games scheduled on the PIHA website?

Excellent question... allow me to answer that through interpretive dance.

...

On a side note: Most of the ranks here are probably not just based on the results of this season, but last season's results, rosters, etc... I think the call it "power rankings". I don't know all the facets of it but I think some of the ranking systems get too complex, if I would rank all the teams I would just rank them by wins, losses, and overtime losses. (if two or more teams are tied I would go to goals against, then goals for)

Isn't that called the standings?

HOLY SH*T These rankings are the best I've seen yet...well done Billy! How'd you get them to be so accurate?

As for answering fdiceman10's question...the Phoenix Dragons's are undefeated and nobody predicts them losing any scheduled games this season....they should be ranked #1.

lol...

Okay, my second choice was win percentage. Since some teams have played 10 games and others have played 2. So it'll still favor the teams that actually get wins, instead of just hype.

Just trying to figure out how the Growl with an 8-2 record with a goal diff. of 39 and the Grizzles with a record of 6-1-1 and a goal diff of 9 are tied in these rankings. Oh the Growl have scored 40 more goals than the Grizzles.

well technically the Grizzlies have a better head to head record against us, perhaps that factors into the mix.

A better question is how is our minor team with an 8-2 record, most wins in the league at 20th place?

well the grizzlies are 2-1-1 against the Growl and we have only one flat out loss all season with the other one coming in overtime. seems to me we should be alone in the 8 spot.

Not if my team has to do anything about it :) I'm sure they will lose a couple games here and there but probably will be ranked #1 at the end of the southwest schedule.

How does the Harrisburg team rank 3 and the Pittsburgh team which lost twice in OT to them rank 2. Crack is something you should try to avoid.

Better late than never, I didn't think the Southwest was going to work out but finishing in late April isn't too bad. Our last game is in that same weekend, and we started a month and a half earlier!

We, the Southwest Division, have gotten behind, we went through a change in division coordinator which is still being figured out, but the division is still happening. We've had a schedule done for weeks and I should be able to have it uploaded today as well as most, if not all, of the rosters.

I have almost all of the southwest schedule up, should be able to get to the rest of it later this afternoon.

Rosters are another issue. I only have the El Paso roster, so if anyone has info on the other three teams send it my way.
