This Thursday night October 4th at 10:00PM (East Coast time) will be the first air date of the SportsNet NY (SNY) "Street Games" episode about New York City roller hockey:
http://www.sny.tv/schedule/streetgames.jsp
The show will feature the 8/26/07 Summer Season Championship Finals of the Manhattan Roller Hockey League. The games were played at the Stanley Isaacs rink at 96th St. and First Avenue of the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
The program will then be rebroadcast on Friday 10/5 at 2:00PM, Saturday 10/6 at 11:30PM, Tuesday 10/9 at 4:30PM, then again later that night at 12:30AM (actually on Wednesday 10/10).
The games were filmed with four cameras and the refs and captains from each team wore microphones so the viewer should get a great-sounding and close-up look at these fiercely competitive contests. I hope you get a chance to see this program and watch our players battling for the inaugural season championship title.
