I know you have to be 18 to play in the pro league in the PIHA, but what is the youngest age you can be to play in the minors.

I'm talking about going to try-outs for a team, could i do that or not.

As of PIHA rules, no team can play a player in any game at the age of 15. Teams may roster a 15 year old player and make him wait until his 16th birthday before being allowed to play in any games. MUST BE 16 at the start of that game! 16 year old players may only play minor league until they turn 18 when they will be of legal age for pro if the team desires to play them in pro.

If your 16th birthday is later into the season, it is very highly unlikely that any team will put you on the roster taking a valuable roster space for someone with ability whom can help immediately, and wait for you to turn 16, but good luck with that!

Ok thanks everybody, I'll just wait till next year, looking on the bright side i get another year to bulk up.
