Hey Folks,
I'm working on some IHC-logo clothing and other items, and I'd like to get your feedback before I go "live" with the link:
http://www.printfection.com/ihcmarketplace
I don't have much control over the prices, which to me are a bit steep, but it IS the only place you'll be able to find IHC-logo gear, so what the heck ;)
Thanks for checking it out. Let me know how I could improve the IHC Marketplace before we take it live.
Attached are two of the items for sale -- the front and back views of an IHC sweatshirt, and a cartoon T-shirt and the artwork up close.

Is that a 3/4 sleeve on the left?

Hi Wingman,
Yes, it is. They call it a baseball T.
I'll be putting up a couple more IHC Toon shirts when I get a chance, FYI. Those are kind of fun.

Looks pretty good, I was thinking maybe the URL should be under the logo, but it shouldn't be too hard to find on a search engine. (search for "inline hockey central", this site comes up 1st on Google) Either way... Good luck finding more toons, I tried looking, gave up after 5 minutes.

Thanks, Wingman,
I appreciate your suggestions.

Soon we'll have an IHC Marketplace graphic link to click on to get to the site, so that shouldn't be a real problem.

The toons I'm talking about are cartoons that ran in InLine Hockey News back in the day. My friend Breck Wilson, the artist, is allowing me to make these shirts, and there are a few more cartoons that aren't too out of date and still make sense for T-shirts.
Did you have difficulty finding the two cartoons T's that I've already put on Printfection.com/ihcmarketplace?
Thanks again for the feedback. It is much appreciated!

Hey Jon,
Thanks! I appreciate it. It's getting there, anyway. There are a few things I still want to tweak, but I hope to get the graphic/link to the IHC Marketplace up on IHC very soon.
Tonight I saw Patti Smith on the Santa Monica Pier, and I ran into an old buddy that I used to play roller hockey with on the parking lots just south of the pier. I had the IHC sweatshirt that I'd made on Printfection, and he thought it was pretty cool! lol.
Hoping you're doing well.

When I was looking for toons I ran a search, nothing good came up though. There was a lot more shirts there in the IHC marketplace than I thought, I'll have to buy something from there sometime. It is a little pricey, but it's the same with all online stores like that.

Glad to hear that!

Yeah, I saw some pretty cheesy ones, myself...

Yeah, that's because they buy the bulk clothing, put on the logos and ship the products for you. All things I have no interest in or time to do :p

Hi Folks,
The IHC Marketplace link is now up on the left side of IHC's Home Page, just below Calendar. Eventually, we'll have a graphic to go with the link, but for now, I just wanted everyone to know it was live.
Please check it out and let me know how it can be improved.

Hi Wingman,
Yes, I did. I'm no web designer, that's for certain.

Hi Wingman,
I just added a new cartoon -- "You're never too young to dream." It's about inline hockey's hope of making it into the Olympic Games.

Yeah I saw that one, funny how it talks about that 'cause there's national tournaments for 6U... they still need a car-seat at that age!
