Ok, here's the deal...I've played ice hockey for over 10 years and now im getting into collegiate roller hockey, or i want to anyways. Havn't played hockey in a couple years but im sure thats not a big deal. So far i've got some decent skates i think...mission he550 from a year or two ago i got them on sale for like 50 bucks, i've also got my shin guards, elbow pads, and a helmet. I think that all i need to get are some full-length pants and a new stick since I broke my last one awhile ago. I had two questions for everyone: 1) I have an old Easton T-flex shaft that I love to death but they no longer make blades for them. Will any other blades fit into this shaft? (it's tapered so its slightly smaller than normal size) 2) If not, does anyone have any reccomendations on a good, cheap stick? I found a nike/bauer apollo online for like 40 bucks, something in that ballpark would be ideal for me...oh and also what kind of pants do you guys reccomend? I'm trying to spend as little $$$ as possible.

Thanks for all the help

if it is a tapered shaft then a regular tapered blade should fit i would think. if not and you need to but a new shaft and dont want to spend alot of money i would go to hockey giant and see what they have on sale.

if you goto hockeyworld.com as well, or if you live near a Perani's Hockey world, they sell one piece sticks for like 30 bucks...these sticks, are high end overruns that are just painted different. Also, not sure, but a synthesis blade might work on that t-flex...i would call a shop first tho.
