PIHA/MLRH Competition Level

hey all, i had a question. how would you compare the PIHA and MLRH competition level to say, Junior A roller hockey?

Ive been thinking of either trying out for a PIHA team, or trying to convince one of the local teams to join PIHA.

just dont want to get laughed out of the rink if ya know what i mean ;)

from the videos ive seen on youtube, piha seems pretty slow, and the rinks look tiny.

It depends on the area. The vidoes on Youtube are not indicative of the product..you can't sense the real speed on there.

In the Gateway Division we have 5 players from Team USA, numerous Junior A, B, and college ice hockey players (as well as professional)..

the comp level in piha is pretty good, i know alot of guys who play in piha and they are nasty .and when i hear them telling me that teams and plaers they play agenst are nasty it just shows that piha is ext competitive. and as for you putting a team in you better have a nasty team to compete.
