NARCh Men's Platinum was outstanding, I think I enjoyed it more than Pro. Sure feels good to be back home.
Congrats to the Savage Wolves, they played very well.

This is a great squad made up of several talented players from the PIHA Northeast and Mason Dixon Division. CONGRATS!!!

Good to see so many PIHA players doing well at nationals. In Men's Gold, Team Fooz was mostly Midwest Tornados players (Shah, O'Leary, Engle, Warren, Cash) and I know the Wolves are pretty much all PIHA players too.

thanks to all you guys for the congrats, i'm all choked up :D
seriously though, that was a great tournament and everyone played great each time they hit the floor... we went into it way too cocky and when we were dealt our first loss in the second game of the tournament it woke us all up. Playoffs were great too, first game was OT vs. the Mercenaries, Semi's were against the Mission Habs ( best team there in my opinion ) and the final was against Pama, who we have had a nice rivarly since the wolves started playing tournaments.
we are mostly PIHA guys, i'll give ya a quick run down

Matt Matinchek (lunatics)
Mike Mitchell (Minutemen)
Eli Napolitano (Grizzlies)
Gary Kull (Blaze)
John Pinhiero (Blaze)
Dan Quartucio (Potsdam NCAA D 3 Ice hockey) Only player without PIHA experience, was our top scorer and probably the best player overall last weekend. PIHA is in his near future though!
Just by looking at this roster and the results proves the level of talent in the PIHA and it's only getting better by the year, we played teams that play together all year long and we were able to all gel during the trip to make the run at the finals.
Definitely looking forward to more tournaments and the upcoming PIHA season!

Actually Dan does have a few games experience in the PIHA
He played for the Hystyk Extremes (Bridgewater, NJ) in 2004 and did quite well as I remember....He legally changed his name though.....
Congrats GUYS!!!
