What if?

Our world if filled with what if?

What if I had of played on that team. What if I had taken that coaching Job. What if I had the gifts that he does.

This question surrounds us each day. Every hockey player has at one point in their career asked themself...What if?

But, what does the question really mean? Does it mean we could have amounted to something better if we had have played for the OC blades, per say? Does it mean, it would have tarnished your name? What if? Could have a lot of different meanings.

I remember thinking to myself..What if? Maybe I should have played an age up. The coach was an ass hole! I was so unhappy at the time. Now when I think about it, he was just pushing me to get the best of what I could do out of me!

Sometimes you have to make the best of the situation you're in. For the most part it is the position you chose yourself to be in.

I mean, think about it for a minute. If we have cohsen the situation, what do we have to complain about? It is our own chioces that got us there(For the most part) and I think we all have a pretty good sense of what is best for us!

I am also a believer that things happen for a reason! Why would you do something, even bad if something good didn't come of it? We learn lessons from the bad, and we cherrish the good things.

But, when asking What if? Remember, it was your choice, and things happen for a reason. You never know maybe playing on that TPC AA team will get you seend and maybe you'll be playing for AMB next year?

Things should work out for you! Don't fret, life is too short for that!

Dude, it's a holiday weekend and probably the last blast of summer for a lot of people. Except for me of course. Plumbing and yard work.... ah, the joys of home ownership...
I think I'd rather be playing hockey.

What if is useless and pointless when used in retrospect. What if this, what if that... The thing is, you made your decisions based on who you were at that specific moment. Only through living out the consequences good and bad can you find out if it was the right, wrong, or indifferent decision. Put your head on a swivel, take a look around, and take it all in. You're rarely if ever given the same opportunities twice. So keep your head up, stick on the ice(court) and keep 'em short!

What if I could actually sleep in this morning? What if I wasn't woken up by Pancakes (the cat formally known as Puck) sitting on my chest biting my nose? What if I had fed him on time last night instead of hanging out at the late night pool party?.....Then perhaps I wouldn't be responding to this riduculous plea for some action on this board. Face it, it's a holiday weekend and not much going on that anyone cares to post about. This board doesn't need 'consistant action' to prove that it is still a quality site to vist.

'What ifs' are all relative to what you believe in. What if I hadn't written this?

What if my grandmother had wheels, She'd be a wagon. What if my aunt had a beard, she'd be my uncle.
