CANADA CROWN
The NIHA-Canada National Championships are rapidly approaching.
The NIHA-Canada National Championships determine the top inline hockey teams in the country each season, and this year?s event takes place from July 13-15, in Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada.
Teams qualify for this event at the Regional Championships held in each province. Each province is awarded two berths in each age division for the national event. In addition, the host province/league is given an additional berth in each age division.
Divisions for 2007:
Mite (10 & under): Born 1996-97
Squirt (12 & under): Born 1994-95
Peewee (14 & under): Born 1992-93
Bantam (16 & under): Born 1990-91
Midget (18 & under): Born 1988-89
The tournament host league of Sherwood Park Inline (SPINline) is pleased to announce the main rinks for this year?s tournament will be at the spectacular Millennium Place.
Millennium Place offers the following amenities:
Two full-size ice rinks
Two full-size indoor soccer pitches
Mini-rink (Lleisure ice/pond)
Wave pool and lap pool
Restaurant/Bar
Gymnasium
Snack Bar
Starbucks
Three-lane walking/running track
Physiotherapy Wellness Centre
Best Western Hotel
