After playing the first round of the playoffs, I witnessed some very class act hockey games against the Gladiators and the Bandits. The play was hard fought and physical but the teams showed complete respect to each other, the fans that came to watch, and for the game of hockey in itself. I would like to thank both Bob Basquille of the Gladiators and Jon Roux and CJ Gamble of the Bandits for making the games we played between us (Lunatics) good experiences and for some great sportsmanship in those games. The Bandits scrambled to secure an outstanding location that I would reccomend to anyone in the Iceoplex of Canonsburg Pa, and they made us feel welcomed and comfortable in their home this weekend. Classy stuff.

Thank you also goes out to Jeff Haze throughout the season who helped me, Mark Hausman and Charley Yoder in contacting and arranging within the division when things became at times overwhelming. Especially with the Allstar game that he hosted in Feasterville with the minor league. With the help of Anthony Flynn bringing in the Northeast division, it was a major success that might not have been without these two gentlemen. Two more hearts of hockey dedicated to PIHA in my opinion. All teams this season did a decent job of posting stats and scores once they got the hang of it, and I appreciate that very much. Thank you all.

Great to see these types of posts. After a long season, the trend is probably to focus on the negative. With such a huge expansion, there were bound to be areas that were neglected, but I think for now we need to focus on all the positives, because generally this season was a huge success.
