PIHA Minor Playoffs

What is going on with the Minor playoffs? The league does a great job with the playoff tree for pro, they should have one for minor as well. You go on the site an nothing about the Minor playoff. Just curious what is happening.

I post what I can, but there is a lack of information. Everyone post what is going on in the other divisions and i'll make sure it gets up.

Our Minor playoffs are the 11th and 12th (1st rounds) and the finals on the 13th.

The time that is set right now is
Saturday May 12th River City Whalers (#3) at St. Louis Pythons (#2) 3 PM at Matteson Triplex

I will get back to you ASAP about the Snipers/Tornados as it has to be scheduled around a high school All Star game.

Championship will be Sunday most likely at 2 PM depending on what happens in the opening rounds.

Does anybody know what the schedule is for Saturday in Feasterville? I believe the Scrappers & Swamp Donkey's play @ 2:00 & 2:45 then a third game if needed & the Lunitics & Roller Rats are @ 6:00 & 7:00. Is there anything else scheduled between the minor & pro playoff games?

I believe we are trying to have our game sometime this weekend here in Pittsburgh against Richmond. Last I heard it was maybe this Saturday night at 7:00. Please take this with a grain of salt though because nothing is final, this is just what was mentioned to me. Good luck everyone.

The Minor Championships this year are Division Only.

Maybe next year there will be a national one.

I do believe there will be some effort to have the Mason Dixon Minor Champion play the Northeast Division champion, but it will obviously be up to the winners to schedule this.

The Swamp Donkey's took the series in 3 games vs the Scrappers.

Richmond won the Mason Dixon in three.
Game 1 ..... 2-1 ---Richmond scored the game winner with one second left in the game

Game 2..... Bandits 7 Richmond 1

Game 3... Richmond 2 Pittsburgh 1... Game went into OT. Richmond scored with around 3 minutes left in the ot.

Congrats to the Robins, great game, and you guys deserved it.

Semi Finals All Games SATURDAY May 12th

River City Whalers (3rd) at St. Louis Pythons (2nd) 3 PM at Matteson Triplex

Midwest Tornados (4th) at Southside Snipers (1st) 7:30 PM at All American

Championship "Mother's Day Madness"

If Snipers win 2 PM All American

If Pythons win and Snipers lose Noon Matteson Triplex

If Pythons and Snipers lose TBD Omni Sportsplex
