in your opinion which games this weekend are the most important as far as playoff seeding and such? here is my division, rocky mountain

Prowlers vs Thunder - Prowlers has first place if they can win both games. Thunder is in a must win situation. One win for the Thunder will put them in 4th place but the current fourth place team Fire has two games remaining against the red hot Blizzard. Therefore the Thunder will try their best to get both wins in order to put the pressure on the Fire for saturday nights games. No doubt these are two very important games for both the Thunder and the Prowlers.

Fire vs Blizzard - Fire is in sole position in 4th place, however it is by the slimmest of margins. Only 1 point seperates them from the Thunder. Fire are relying on the Prowlers to win both games against the Thunder. If the Thunder do win 1 or both games against the Prowlers, it puts the Fire with their backs against the wall and facing the first place Blizzrd. Blizzard meanwhile wants to remain in first place and wants to put some space between them and the Prowlers. Blizzard are vying for home rink advantage throughout the division, so they will be playing their best to knock out the Fire.

Catz vs Prowlers - This one is hard to coprehand because the other two series of games have not been played yet. but if i remember right, if the Thunder and Fire sweep their games. that would put the Catz in last place and them fighting for their playoff berth.

All in all, very exciting weekend coming up here in the Rocky Mountain Division. I am curious to hear how things shape up in the other divisions.

one mistake, the Catz and Fire are tied for fourth and lead the Thunder by two points. Fire and Thunder may come down to tiebreakers if the Fire gets swept and the Thunder wins one game. Could be a 3 way tiebreaker to see who gets in the playoffs if the Catz are also swept by the prowlers. Tiebreaker city in the Rocky Mountains!! Crazy stuff up here. The only two teams guranteed a playoff spot right now are the Blizzard and Prowlers. Good luck to everyone.

From what I have been told here are the tiebreakers....

1. Head to Head
2. Goals Against

They shouldn't go past that.

Marple gets 3rd if the Fury lose a game this weekend.

If the Fury win all 4 games this weekend they would take the 3 seed in the pro and knock Marple Back to 4th.

If the Fury win 3 games and Pottstown and Scotsdale Split the fury take 4th.

If the Fury win 2 games and Scotsdale sweeps Pottswown the fury take 4th.

If pottsown sweeps Scotsdale and the Fury don't win all 4 Pottstown takes 4th.

If scottsdale sweeps pottstown and the fury only win 1 then scottsdale takes the 4th seed.

So right now the pros in the Mason Dixon division we know these seeds

1. Pittsburgh
2. Harrisburg
3. TBD
4. TBD

Marple has clinched a playoff birth

Correction to above post-Fire and Catz are tied for 3rd. The fire is the last team the Blizzard want to play, Fire are 5-1 this year aginst them. There certainly are alot of different sanario's that could happen this weekend. I wish you and your team good luck this weekend, if you win both the other games will purely be for seeding purposes.

BEST OF LUCK TO EVERYONE THIS WEEKEND!

Having been in the league since 2002, it is great to see multiple division playoff races coming down to the final weekend. We have really grown and I look forward to it only growing larger.

Keep us all posted on what is going on with scores as quick as you can!
