Lindenwood vs rhode island , i knew that was going to be a joke , and when the puck dropped 7 seconds later everyone else did too. I looked at rhode islands stats and i seen they tied lindenwoods b team and lindenwood had key scratches that game . some of the ice players were scratches ,thats what the stat sheet said anyway. so i was wondering lindenwoods best match ever would probley be playing there own team . lindenwoods d1 team will still win but i think the b team would be one of the hardest competitions . Anyone disagree?

Honestly, the way it was explained to me... RI should've been out 4 games ago against Florida, but they were beneficiery of a 5 on 2 (delayed penalty) 4 on 2 and 4 on 3 . But thats the beuty of these playoffs..

EMU looked like the 2nd place team.

If FIU got a better seeding - it might have been them

i play for Rhode Island and i know that we didn't match up to lindenwood and people would have loved to see a better championship game but I've never played with a better bunch of guys who deserved to be where we were. we busted our asses that whole tournament and for people to be knocking us just doesnt seem right. We never got the credit we deserved the entire season and maybe that has something to do with the fact that we were there at the end. As for the Florida game, maybe no one mentioned that we ended the game killing a 4 on 2 for 2 minutes. We don't have any PROS on our team and hopefully RI made a name for themselves this week. I'm proud to have been a part of this team and even though I'm graduating, RI will be back where they left off next year.

Well after watching the other D1 teams and Lindenwood all year long, their best challenge all year would of been the 2 (1) goal games vs. SCC.

Definitly not their B team,

Thanks for joining the board to make this edifying post.

Can we freeze new registrations for like a week before and after Nationals next year?

Um, so going out to the casino and the bars the night before should be an excuse for not playing well the next morning?

Anyone have a Band-Aid? My heart is bleeding....

And if URI should have been out 4 games earlier, they still had to win the next 3 to go to where they were.

I just think its sad that Lindenwoods B team can keep up with D1,D2, and D3 teams. Its really bad when both of LU's B teams play and there is only a 3 goal margin. Does this mean that LU has 3 teams that could compete in D1 nationals.

There's no doubt there are more than a few B teams (in addition to Lindenwood's) that can "keep up with" D1, D2, and D3 teams. The difference is whether they can be competitive against nationals-quality teams. Not that the quality of nationals teams are all that great from top-to-bottom, either, but I'm not sure all three teams could compete, although I did see one of the B teams, and they looked pretty good.

Sniff sniff.
