INLINE HOCKEY TOURNAMENT LJUBLJANA OPEN 2007
SD Strele is between 13.7 and 15.7.2007 organizing a major international inline hockey tournament in Slovenia's capital - Ljubljana. The tournament will be taking place in an ice Tivoli hall in the centre of Ljubljana. A renovated hall with its 5000 seats represents a home to HK Olimpija, national champions in ice hockey for several times and the basketball players of Union Olimpija - members of Euroleague. In this very hall this year's IIHF World Championship Division 1 in ice hockey is about to occur. By now, the hall had hosted many ice hockey world championships as well as championships in basketball, weight lifting, gymnastics, etc. Due to its superb location, only about 300 metersfrom the very city centre and in close proximity to the majority of hotel facilities, we have selected the hall as the venue of our tournament.
The organizer of the tournament is Citypark Strele team, a member of the 1. Slovene elite league, organized under the auspices of teh Inline HZS (Slovene inline hockey federation)
First 9 enroled teams - not more than 3 from the same state - will be admited to the tournament along with the hosting team Citypark Strele. The date of enrolment is due to 30.5.2007. The registration fee is 300 EURO, and the deposit has to be made on the accoun of SD Strele by 15.06.2007 at the latest.
