Minor League All-stars - East

An amazing effort by everyone involved has yielded us a great event. The Mason Dixon and Northeast Division is teaming up for a joint all-star event to be held at the Sportsplex on March 24th beginning at 7:00 pm.

Rosters have been announced and a schedule will be released soon. Congrats to everyone that made it!

To bad the Top Cat tournament is the same weekend as the NARCh Regional in Rahway, NJ. Otherwise, I'd be there watching.

This is going to be a spectacular event. As the team who's home rink is the Sportsplex we are proud of all the efforts that Mark Hausman, Anthony Flynn, and not to too toot my own horn but myself as well to get this event together. We hope to see everybody out there that night.

Special thanks to Anthony and Mark for working so hard on making this event a possibility.

give it time my friend.....every year PIHA does something new...this year the minors now have as many games as pro :rolleyes: .....i'm sure interleague play is in the pipes for the future...which means more games... woo hoo....

personally, i'd like to see minor/pro game times the same length.... :D

Billy as you well know our team played the minutemen in a holiday scrimmage. All it will take for a lot of teams is a phone call to set something up. Some teams in the northeast division setup a preseason tournament. If all teams in our division would be willing maybe myself and Mr. Flynn could setup a cross promotional event to be held at both of our facilities on one weekend somewhere in October and get most teams from both of our divisions to come out. I am sure if all team owners got together for something like this it could be worked out. I am sure with a little planning I could get our team to go up to Boston for a weekend of hockey with the teams up there. Though with some of our guys the drinking would become the focus. Anyway to stop ranting great thoughts guys lets all get together and work on it so we can get this stuff going. The league only can grow if all parties want to step up and do it. Good luck to all the rest of the season and to all players in the all star games pro and minor respectively.
