important games tonight and this weekend

Which games are the ones to watch this weekend? Tonight is very important in Colorado since the Fire and Blizzard are right in the middle of the standings. Friday is a big battle between the Thunder and Blizzard. Thunder is playing very well as of late but the Blizzard is looking to rebound tonight and this weekend to show everyone that they are the deepest and most talented team in the division. Also we (the Prowlers) have an opportunity to put the Catz in a very deep hole in the Rocky Mountain Division since we play them 4 times this weekend but what about those games out east and in the midwest. what are the key matchups and implications to these match ups? Remember the playoffs are right around the corner. Good luck to everyone!

The east has a few very important games this weekend as well:
Boston Roller Rats vs Mass Bombers
Minutemen vs Roller Rats
Fire Ants vs Bombers
Growl vs Connecticut
Minute men vs Bombers

Boston is in a good spot with the least amount of games played and the amount of points that they have, if they have a strong weekend they can put themselves in a strong position to lock up a playoff spot.

Mass Bombers play 6 games this weekend and can make a statement to lock up a spot with a decent showing might be tough to beat Boston but they should cruise through the fire ants and if they happen to sweep the minute men it will stick them in a bad spot with only a few games left

Philadelphia only plays one day this weekend against connecticut and they can keep the division tight if they can pull out two against conn. If connecticut can steal a game or even two they will help themselves out tremendously in the playoff picture but the growl can leave them fighting with a sweep.

Minute Men have the biggest weekend of all, playing the bombers and the roller rats two teams ahead of them in the standings. They need to win some of these games to keep their hopes alive. A four loss weekend would basically put them in a must win situation the rest of the way.

The fire ants can play the spoiler if they can steal two games from the Mass team the ants only have 2 wins but they always play mass tough and could upset the Mass playoff hopes by stealing a game or two

Connecticut beat the growl last weekend and now are the home team trying to win 2, if they do they will be in a great spot to lock up the 3rd spot in the east.

The grizzlies are off for a few weeks so they can just watch and see what happens and how the playoff hunt plays out, however so much time off with things getting tough could leave them in a bad spot with some must win games of their own coming up next month.

There are some great games this weekend.

Pottstown vs Lunatics... obviously they mean more to Pottstown who is still battling for a playoff spot, but I think these will be great games.

Rats vs Bombers... having already met twice and split twice, this is the ultimate rubber match between the local rivals

Growl vs Blaze... we want nothing more then to avenge last weeks loss

Bombers vs Minutemen... lots of playoff implications in this one

Also, Im predicting a win for the Flying Monkeys this weekend!!!

well, i was wrong about the Fire and Blizzard games. Fire won both 6-3 and 7-4, Fire played really well last night.

there were 4 minor games the first two both went to the Fire 3-0 and i think the second game was 4-1 i could be wrong with that score though. after the pro games there were 2 more minor games and i did not see those due to the fact it was getting late and i went home.
