Great story, Rich!

I posted my Luc Robitaille story some time back. What a first-class gentleman and hockey player!

Hi Danny,

Thanks! I appreciate it. It was fun to write.

I've also made some new moves on a book about Roller Hockey International that I want to write, sending out a batch of e-mails last night. I've been thinking about it for a long time, now I have to do it or I'll always be driven crazy by that voice in my head that calls me a lazy jerk. lol.

Do you attend any RHI games back in the day? Have any stories about the league? Send 'em my way (rather than posting them here).

Later.

My son and I were very fortunate to be invited to the January 20th game vs. the Coyotes and to see Luc’s jersey retirement celebration……What a fantastic night!!!!

We were invited by a family whose son played on my Youth Rec team last season….

How generous is that!!!!!

What a wonderful time it was…..We will never forget it……

To be sitting in VIP seats 10 rows behind the Kings bench for this event was a once in a lifetime experience…..

On the way to our seats we ran into Marty McSorley, Larry Robertson and Jari Kurri heading for their box…..

My 8 year old lets out a “Hey Marty”…..

Marty spins around and says “What’s-up bud!”…..

To see decades worth of Kings players, including Rogie Vachon and Gretzky, all in the same place was too cool…..

Then…….Out rolls the Stanley Cup…… Unbelievable!!!!!

What a night…….We didn’t get home until 12:30AM…..

Oh yeah….The Kings lost 3-2 that night, but who cared…….
