Lots of games this weekend...let's hear the predictions......
I'll just start rambling them off here...
Colorado Springs vs. Pikes Peak - Neither team coming in strong, Thunder are coming off losing 3 of 4 to Fort Collins, Prowlers lost 2 to Westminster, Thunder's big guns should get them at least 1 of the 2 games, probably will split.
Harrisburg vs. York - Harrisburg should be too much for them, will take both games.
Midwest vs. St. Louis - St. Louis won both in their last meeting, but both were close games. Seems to me, Midwest is the better team on paper, I think they'll show up and get a split.
Richmond vs. Pottstown - I don't see why Pottstown shouldn't take both like they did in December.
Westminster vs. Pikes Peak - When they met about a month ago, they were both 3-goal wins for Westminster, I think they'll do about the same and Westminster remains unbeaten.
Southside vs. Midwest - This one seems hard to predict, the scores of their last meeting was Southside 2-0 and Midwest 9-1. I wasn't there so don't know what happened to cause such a big shift from one game to the next. Southside seems to be the team to beat in that division, in my opinion, they'll get at least a split, maybe a sweep?
Connecticut vs. Hartford - Hartford hasn't won a game yet, don't know if that's motivation or disappointment, either way Connecticut took both last time 3-1 and 5-0, should take both again, I'd be surprised if the Fire Ants get their first win this weekend.
Richmond vs. Marple - Marple swept last meeting pretty convincingly, 7-2 and 8-6, should get another 2 wins this weekend.
Fort Collins vs. Littleton - These teams haven't met yet but Fort Collins is coming off winning 3 of 4 against Colorado Springs while Littleton split with Colorado Springs in their last games. I'm favoring Fort Collins here, but Ryan Clemens should keep it close for the Fire, and their big guns like Ellis and Rodgers should help pull out 1 of 2.

Just to clarify about the past Blizzard and Prowlers games.
Blizzard 5-3 game1
Blizzard 7-6 double ot game 2
therefore the blizzard did not beat us by 3 goals both games. the games were highly competitive and the result could have gone either way.

i know some teams will be shorthanded for TORHS Winters this weekend jan 5-7 .. so that could have an impact on some of the outcomes of the PIHA games...

Also i know of several PIHA players that are going to NARCH next weekend, that should impact a couple of games as well out here in Colorado.

I know the Snipers will be severly shorthanded missing Greg Thompson (in NY), Zack Reis (Lindenwood Ice Hockey), Phil Maroon (TORHS), Josh Matteo (injured) and possibly Jake Shepard (injured).
