Hey guys,

I'm moving to Los Angeles and I'll be staying in the thousand oaks area. Thankfully (maybe) I have the roller den about 2.6 miles from the house. Can anyone provide a quick review of the facility?

Is the hour drive to anaheim to play there worthwhile?

I guess I could find out when i get out there on the 8th, but just wanted to check.

Thanks everyone - GdR

Just an FYI... I live in Southern California (Orange County) and Thousand Oaks to Anaheim is going to take more than an hour.... An hour and a half to 2 hours is more realistic (traffic)

Thanks guys for the responses. Could anyone tell me about the quality of the facility?

Furthermore, anyone know where the host rink is for the CA adult state wars team?

Thanks

Hey Gabe, Brennan here. I think i went to Roller Den a few years back to see the Moorpark team practice, when they were just joining the WCRHL. It is an ok place to play. If it's not to par for you, El Segundo may be closer than Anaheim...it's the Toyota Sports Center, formerly Healthsouth Training Center, where the Kings/Lakers practice. I played roller there a few years back, off and on.

Roller Den seemed fine, if I lived close to there I would consider it worthy, but you should check it out. The ceiling may be a little low, and it seemed a little dark...but my memory is foggy!
