View Full Version : Parody in PIHA

After the first few weeks gone by in the season so far, it seems there is a lot of parody in PIHA. Most people expected it to be a cake walk for the Lunatics and my Growl team which has not been the case. For the most part, every series has been a split so far with most games coming down to the last minute. We beat the Minutemen pretty good twice, but they did not have either starting goalie and both teams were missing a few players, so who knows what will happen when we play them again. But this is a good thing for the league, that everyone is playing at a very high competetive level. MLRH didn't do well because many teams were getting beat by 10-15 goals and it was almost a waste of time to show up to games after that. PIHA in its first two or three years had a lot of blowouts also, which is why they went the two game series. This gives teams a chance even if they lose the first game 8-0. Just look at the Boston-Mass games this weekend for a reference. I am just saying that Charlie is bringing this league up as well as it could probably be run right now, and the future looks bright for a lot of roller hockey players. I mean even the Minor League games are great games to watch and many of those players will be stars in our league someday soon.
Good Luck to all this weekend, as we get to shoot on former teammate Kalish 4 games this weekend.

Great Post. Completely true. However, I think you mean "parity" and not "parody"......right? The definition of a parody is a joking imitation.

I don't know why you keep posting T, its embarrasing. Philly has nothing to do with south Jersey other than pro sports, 2 bridges and the mob.
