I was directed to this forum by a letter I sent to Mike Burke. We live in Central NJ and my son has been playing roller hockey since he was 4. He is now a HS senior and would love to play in college. He has applied to a few schools, 2 of which we know have roller hockey programs. How do we get more invloved or have someone watch him play? Any help would be great.

I'm sure that most, if not every, team would be glad to answer any questions about their roller hockey program, their school, or college hockey in general. If there's a particular set of schools you are considering, I'm sure you could also work out an opportunity to skate with the team.

On the NCRHA website (www.ncrha.org (http://www.ncrha.org)) you can view every team's profile. There is a section titled "Front Office" where you can find contact information for club representatives for many of the teams in the league.

Since you live in Central NJ, I'd guess Rutgers is an option for your son. If you'd like information on Rutgers and the roller hockey program, please email us at [email protected]

Thanks!

What school are you looking at which have roller hockey programs, i sure that you can get in touch with that team through this board. Most teams have 1-2 players that check these boards quite frequently.

That page has a list of every team on the East Coast.

Same for the nation

Feel free to contact me at [email protected] or through the board. I live very close to Central NJ (I spend 3-4 days a week in Ewing), so it's no problem for me to come watch a game or two.
