PIHA in Chicago

Has there been any talk about starting a PIHA team in Chicago? I know that there is a lot of interest from guys in the Chicago area about playing in a competitive league such as MLRH or PIHA. If anyone has any infromation about PIHA opportunities or knows who to contact about possibly getting something started in Chicago please contact me at [email protected]

Chicago will fall under the Gateway umbrella for next year so make sure to follow the Gateway Division and stay in contact!

It would be great to get Chicago on board! If only Detroit and Buffalo would come on too..... :)

I think Buffalo is an area that definetely need to be looked at again. The Wings would most likely come in a heart beat, but we need a few other teams in that region. If they could get even one team out of the ESL Center in Rochester, perhaps we could look into finding some teams in Toronto to make a division. Cleveland and/or Detriot could work into that mix as well and then perhaps Cincinnati and Pittsburgh teams might be placed into that division. When Buffalo was in the league by themselves, no one wanted to make that trip for one game and I'm sure they felt the same about having to travel 4-5 hours every road game. They are a top notch organization up there and should be in this league. If anyone in Rochester can get something going on, I think that is the key to that region.

I would like to think that someone could also get something going in the Syracuse area. I seem to recall a team from that area called the Bulldogs, I think, looking to join the league sometime last spring.
