How are you guys liking the IDS as the new official puck this year?

I'm torn - I always liked that the Mach-1 stayed flat and didn't ''skitter" across the floor, but the IDS is much faster!

Love the IDS, we havn't started our regional play yet but am happy to hear that we have switched pucks and like you said will create a much faster game and play.

I don't like the new IDS puck. Mach1 puck is flatter, and I can pick it up with my goalie stick, Michigan-style. With IDS puck... its forget about it.

I feel like its going to take away an important aspect of my game this upcomming season. :(

and that important part of your game would be skating full length of the rink, deke-ing all 4 oppossing players, and then ending up behind the net, where you become the first goalie to ever score michigan-style in overtime, right alex ;)

i thought you guys would never get rid of the mach-1! is it b/c of the lawsuit? haha...seriously though, thank goodness you got rid of that thing.

however, i'm not much of a fan of the IDS either. it's ok, but my personal preference has always been the rocket puck. :)

how is collegiate roller hockey these days?

i wish they would have switched 4 years ago. ids is the best out there. rocket rolls way too much. the ids rolls too but its much easier to settle than the rocket. should make for some fast games.
