I would like to congratulate the Sharpshooters team and their coach, Denis Joachim on their victory this past weekend in the 12u division of the Disney Challenge. He put together a very good team of players who meshed together to win as a team.
Congratulations also to Team Skater's Choice who gave them all they could handle in the finals before they pulled away in the 3rd period.
Personally, I would like to recognize Logan Basden their 93 goalie for saving our defense at critical moments in the game. If one or two of those early shots land in the net and not in his glove the outcome may have been totally different.
Great job to Casey and Cody Brown, Cody Egersdorf, "Dee-Dee" Joachim, Austin Halverson, Frankie Erace, Conner Enciso, Mitch Steur (MVP) and Logan Basden (MVG).
