I'm a longtime roller player, California transplant who played in the early days of Koho Cup and Narch with a lot of the guys who appear to still be playing in the "pro" leagues out there. Been in Chicago a few years now and am looking to either join a league or just head out to the suburbs for pickup on occasion. Trouble is I don't need a car, and it would seem silly to buy one just to play roller two nights a week out in the 'burbs.

Anyone here live in the city and make the commute out to Palatine, Homer Glen, Darien, etc? I'd be willing to pay for gas, and maybe even buy you dinner!

Anyone checking this forum who knows of someone living in the city, I'd appreciate your forwarding on this request.

Thanks!

There is a league playing in Chicago, I think North Avenue or something like that, I will try and find out some more. I know a couple people in Chicago because I used to live there but don't know if they make the trip to Homer Glen and/or Palatine.

I will ask though.

Appreciate the help.

The North Ave league is summers only. The rink is 1/2 sized and with the heat and humidity mid summer, doesn't make for a great hockey experience.

Already closed at this point too...Thanks again,
