Here are a couple of updates from California Roller Hockey Center in Irvine, California:

CARHC is proud to host the IHF 2006-07 High School Hockey Season. Players currently enrolled in a California High School, public or private, is eligible.
Program: IHF High School League 2006-2007
Pre-Season Begins: Monday, October 02, 2006
Regular Season Begins: Monday, October 30, 2006
The Interscholastic Hockey Federation (IHF) 2006-07 season begins with three weeks of exhibition games starting the week of October 2nd. Following a one week period for IHF's team and league balancing, the regular season will commence on Monday, October 30th. Any team representing a California High School, public or private, is eligible to enter a High School Roller Hockey team in one or more divisions, as rink resources permit. Schools will field teams to compete at one or more Varsity and Jr. Varsity (A, B or C) level. Tryouts and evaluations are currently being scheduled by individual school teams.
IMPORTANT NOTICE.
IHF Annual Pre-Season Coaches and Team Managers Meeting.
All the things your school and team will need to know to get started this season for our High School Hockey League (and then some). We will have team forms, schedules, and the documents you?ll need for your teams to complete for the beginning of the season; and we?ll have some guest speakers.
When: Sunday, September 17, 2006
Time: 5:00 PM Start
Where: The Irvine Community Center, 11 Creek Road, Irvine, CA 92604
(Directions from Rink: East on Barranca Pkwy, past Culver to 3rd light "Creek
Road," Turn right, facility is on left side).
IHF, the governing body for High School competition, defines playing and eligibility rules specific to IHF High School competition. Items not covered in the IHF Rules are included under USA HOCKEY and CARHC guidelines, rules, and regulations.

Recreation Fall 2006
"NEW" Fall recreation begins with evaluations on September 16 and 17. Envision sports will be making a presentation in regard to their new training and evaluation program on both days. For more information on Envision Sports, please contact [email protected]
All teams will play 10 games plus playoffs.

Atom 8 and under
Mite 9, 10

Peewee/Bantam 13-17

- Hockey helmet with strap HECC approved
- Full cage with mouth piece
- Elbow pads
- Hockey gloves
- Knee / shin guards
- Hockey girdle
- Athletic support
- Shoulder pads RECOMMENDED
- CARHC jerseys with name and number. One red and one white. Call 714-730-8087
- Inline Skates with no exposed bolts or brake pads
- Stick with butt end taped
- NO BLACK TAPE ALLOWED
- Wheels 78A or less hardness
