In response to some other posts, particularly the one in the professional forum, i'm wondering about the average costs for mens leagues around the country... maybe i'm just lucky, but the league we play in here in pittsburgh is around 1000 for a season including refs fees and sweet beer mugs for the champions... i have 2 so far, going for the whole set... :p i just saw the number 1350 in new jersey, plus refs fees and had to ask if that was standard... i know ice leagues around here that are less than that... i would think it would be a lot less for inline, but i guess things are different in different areas...

The Blast in York is $775-$800 per season. This was the price the last time I played which was about a year ago.

2 years ago in Bridgewater, NJ we had a price scale for our leagues:
Beginner League $2150 per team;
D League $2050 per team;
C League $1975 per team;
B League $1850 per team;
A League was $150 per player
Each league was guaranteed 11 regular season games and 1 playoff game all with ref fees included in the price.

We have a ice and inline team at our home rink here in Pittsburgh. The cost for inline is $950 and $1100 for ice (this just went up from $1000)
I guess we better count our blessings Snake....
What do teams pay for rink/ practice time? We pay $90-100 per hour here (for inline)... I know back in CA it's about $140 per hour (depending where you are)....

In our league in Williamsburg it is free for goalies and for 10 games plus playoffs. The fee for players I belive is 120.00 for the season and only 8 guys allowed plus goalie for a team. So total for the league is around $960.00
