I have a delima and would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me out. Well I bought my first composite blade, it was a yzerman, a few months ago. I was never really happy with my wrist shot. It wasn't very hard or accurate. After a while I thought that it might be the curve so I switched to a wooden Thorton blade. It was a little worn but damn I could rip the puck!! As it wore down I decided to buy a composite thornton. I got it and I had the same problem as with the composite yzerman. I asked a guy at the rink and he said that wooden blades have a little more give to them where composites are really stiff. Is this true?? Does anyone have any other insights?? Oh yeah, I play roller and because of the "stickyness" of the floor I play without tape on the blade. Is this an issue??
Thanks a million!!
