Whats the skill level required for college inline?

There are two teams within driving distance of me Miami of Ohio and Ohio State. Both teams seem like did horribly last season. How does it work, do they just hold open tryouts for all students? Not interested in making a team soon, just something to think about in the future.

Regionally, EMU, WMU, MSU and UM have been strong within the midwest as of late - the skill level varies pretty widely depending on the team.

Almost all teams hold open tryouts - if you need to contact a team rep you can go to the NCRHA web site and it should be listed in the team area. If you can't find the proper info there send me a PM and I'll get you in touch with the rep.
