The growl won 10-5. It was a little wide open for how we would have liked to play but thats why we have the best goalie in the league, lol. Both teams were missing players as me and Pinheiro could not play and Boston was missing a good 3 or 4 guys. It was a good game, a good crowd showed up and south jersey native and Anaheim Ducks Bobby Ryan came out and watched as he is ver close friends with Sean Sullivan. Overall a good game and should be a great season in PIHA.

the game was decent, niether team had all of their guys, so i don't really think you would expect a game like this during the season. I know for us we were missing Ray, Bobby and Johnny, thats huge and i know the storm were missing guys... there was no backchecking on either side, 3 on 2's all day for both teams... I know for us we haven't played together in forever and the Boston guys were fresh off the airplane which never helps.
All in all it was cool having bobby ryan there, would have been awesome if Bianca could have made it, and even better if both teams had a full roster. I can tell you this though Boston will be one of the better teams in the league

Having finally recovered from the post game party, I must say it was truly a pleasure to host the Rats yesterday. We developed a lot of experience in rushing from the airport straight to a game, so I can imagine it was very tough on those guys. They played well, we enjoyed the crowd and the celebretes that were there and I look forward to next season very much.

From what I can remember yes. Four straight to send it to OT was sweet.

I would just like it to be known that the Pittsburgh Phantoms/Bandits Professional Beer Pong Team will be accepting all challengers who wish to be served on their trip to our city this season...

Well perhaps that will influence us to have to schedule a trip to pitt again this year.

ya for sure, last i checked you guys were still going to be in our division, correct? you wont even recognize our team this year. looks like we're returning around 6 players and adding about 12 new ones... should be a great year for the whole league... we might even have a former spelling bee champion on the roster...

First off, mad props to the Growl team and organization. If this is what we have to look forward to as far as professionalism, the proper way to host a game, fan support and all around good sportsmenship, than I think we are making the right move playing in PIHA. We were riddled with problems right from the start. Flight delays, trouble at the rent a car location, etc., yet the Growl organization still managed to make the event a success. Even though we didn't win, I think from a league stand point, they showed how this league should run and how professional it is. Hats off Anthony. As far as the game itself went, well we are just going to use an old cliche, "we'll get'em next game".

At this point it looks almost certain that we will be moving to the Northeast division. With number of teams going to be in the Atlantic Division, it will help balance the conference and for our own sake it makes more sense geographically for a lot of our players. This doesn't mean we wont make a trip to Pburgh however, best of luck to you guys, I expect nothing but the best from you.

Roger,
No doubt.....I sat in the scorer's box for the game. I enjoyed watching both teams. Game was alot closer than the score dictates. Thats gonna be some match up come next season. Good Luck to all.....

You are right about professionalism. Since making the switch from MLRH to PIHA last year, i have to say that u guy have made the right choice. This league has it's act together. I mean from, league owners ,to league staff, to team owners, right down to the players. Players actually respect each other in PIHA. It's great when u can hang out after the games and BS with the other team. In the MLRH, teams often wanted to brawl each other in the parking lot. Welcome to the league. It's going to be a great season.
