We have been trying to put a game like this together for some time and it has finally come to be.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 19th 2:00 pm

THE BOSTON ROLLER RATS (Formerly the Storm) vs THE PHILADELPHIA GROWL.

It's champion versus champion in a battle for pro inline hockey's ultimate bragging rights.

PIHA Rules... since they are coming into the league this is a great introduction for them.

Oh yeah and we agreed to a 4 period game. We would play the normal 2 game system, but I dont think anyone is interested in a split... SO one long 4 (12 min) period game will be a good afternoon of hockey.

It looks more unlikely then likely at this point. My last coorespondence with her father sounded very uncertain, but leaning toward not being there. They are uncertain of her schedule and her current contract with NBC restricts her from public appearences, as she has recently had to turn down several notable shows like The Tonight Show. I think the only way we would see her there would be if she were to lose early, but Im not hoping for that.

Have to say she is awesome. Happy to hear about this exhibition game. The Minutemen are planning on hosting a tournament for the Northeast division, to welcome the new teams of PIHA. We are hoping to have it in late Sept or Oct. We obviously want to do it after tryouts.

Reminding everyone about this game...

It will likely be one of the best pro games in the past 5 years, be sure to be there.
