I mentioned in another post that FIRS and IIHF are really flat out terrible in promoting our sport, especially on the web.
I went to FIRS' website and you wouldn't even know there's an inline World Championships taking place. No wonder FIRS' presentation to the IOC last year for Olympic recognition was mocked for total incompetence and ineffectiveness.

Meanwhile compare that to narch.com. NARCh creates excitement and makes this sport look good. I'm sure State Wars will do the same. I think the difference is that there are guys like Daryn Goodwin, Tim McManus and Jason D who truly are stoked on inline and their passion shows through their work. On the other hand, you have FIRS and IIHF. They are bigger organizations than NARCh and State Wars but I believe they just don't really give a damn about our sport.
