Congratulations to the East Fishkill Team Wesco girls on a very exciting USAHIL Youth National Championship tournament.

Anybody thinks you need to have a large number of teams to have a "good" tournament missed out on this one. It was excellent. Evenly matched competition, excellent individual skills, great team-level work, exciting games, coming down to the last possession...have I left anything out?

Thanks to USA Hockey InLine for another excellent experience for our girl players from all over the country. Jonathan, Jay, Gary, Jeremy, Hanna, Sherrie, Ron, and all the other USAHIL officials...thanks!

Our girls are so excited about this, that we have already planned to play in the Women's division of the USA Hockey InLine Cup in Las Vegas.

Good luck to all the girls teams participating in the AAU nationals in Detroit later this month.

We look forward to the continued development of opportunities for all the girl players in our sport.

Whats your take on the Girls Festival USA put on this year.

Rich; everybody:

USA Hockey InLine "upped the ante" of opportunity this year, in the second year of the program, finally giviug girls the same full opportunity as the boys.

I believe the program will expand again next year, and in its third year be better than ever.

Discussion on total opportunities for girls in our sport can be held at another time.
