BlueMax VS Beemer

I'm looking for a new set of skates (still on the old fishbones :P) and I'm between the BlueMax and Beemers. Anyone have any experience with either of these skates? They look about the same but the BlueMax come out 50 bucks cheaper. Thanks for any replies!

both skates are great. the beemer is a little lighter and comes with better wheels and bearings (both come with abec-7 bearings, but the ones in the beemers are better made). the max is a little stiffer of a boot.

i've got both models and for me the better bearings along with the better wheels and slightly better feel would make me keep the beemers if i had to choose between the two. with online places blowing out the beemers at 200 bucks and the max's at 150, both of those are a whale of a deal and you really can't go wrong with either choice for those prices.

Nice find...I'm off to epuck to get my pair of Beemers! Now to search for the best way to break them in :P
