Finally....Bruins fans have spmething to smile about. Chara and Savard are great signings that will have an immediate positive impact on the team. On a side note, I'd like to thank the Toronto Maple Leafs for signing Hal Gill. His time was up a long time ago in this town and perhaps a change of scenery will help him. I'm just glad he's no longer wearing the spoked B.

The Kings traded Pavel Demitra, a fan favorite and a heck of a player, for a 17th-round draft pick. I hope Dean Lombardi knows what he's doing...
