Well it's 430 am and we've been in the car for 2 and a half hours from flynns house in south jersey 4 and a half hours total here's the progress....
Sat for over an hour in dead stopped maryland traffic, bobby, suly, and keating broke down before the traffic and will miss the flight, map quest gave us the wrong directions, and it's only getting better
Can someone answer me this? How does a team go 29 and 3, get the best record in the league, and not get a single home playoff game? Okay don't get me wrong I'm excited as anything to go to colorado, but the league booked us at 6 am this morning at an airport over 2 hours from where we are from, and we have to play the first two games for 10 g's right off the plane. This seems and is rediculous on all accounts. Is it me or does it seem everything is made difficult for us? Does the league want us to lose that bad? Philly and newark are both closer and maybe a late thursday flight would have been nice instead we'l all be zombies off the plane.... I disagreed with jimmy v when he said the league stacks the deck against us, but after this I can start to see his point...

In that case, explain to me who got the deck stacked in their favor? No one had home games for the playoffs at any venue.

Who knows... You guys should have had the home games the first weekend too, my point is that it's not fair ... Any team who has the best record in any league should have home advantage at some point.... You don't think its stacked against us with this rediculous travel schedule? Including a 2 hour layover in pitt, when we have to play 2 games tonight... There is no other arguement for this except that's its awful, essentially we are on no sleep for 2 days and are expected to play 2 pro games tonight? You can't agree with that...

When it's paid for you should be a little grateful. Remember when inline made NO money for things like this and it ALL came out of the player's pockets. It's something to work on for next season.

It's amazing what a team can accomplish when no one cares who gets the credit.

Bill... seriously here dude.
First of all... Welcome to maryland traffic. I drive that everyday from York to right next door to BWI where I work. So on that, I don't feel sorry for you guys at all. Don't get me wrong, it sucks... but better planning was in order.
Second... when you can't order plane tickets til the day after the Eastern Finals, The rates are gonna be high and times are gonna suck. And when a league is on a budget, you should be thankful they send you anywhere and that you didn't have your flights setup outta virginia or pittsburgh or anywhere further then B-more.
Third... As for the league being out to get you guys, seriously, Its Friggin Hockey!! If they were truely out to get you or the deck was stacked that badly against you... You Wouldn't Be Out There!!!! Everyone played No-where near home-rink (if you have a home rink) for the playoffs, and it was a hike for all of us. Maybe next year we'll see home-rink playoffs... or dare I say it... we might have to travel to the North East or even friggin Canada for conference/league finals... hold on, let me cry about a lack of home-ice advantage now. I personally welcome the road trips.
Bill, I realize you and I have had our battles out on the rink... but please... Realize that you guys are getting a free ride to Colorado to represent the best talent in the east and play against the best in the West/Canada. Enjoy yourselves out there, and remember that its a game we all love. Some of us would have given our back teeth to go and even watch and be a part of the action out there as fans of this game. I wish you guys all the best out there.

well put Frank Frank. I wish I would have thought to say that, but I was too busy wiping my eyes from laughing so hard. Bill? if your luggage gets lost? will that be PIHA's fault as well? Those people in the cars in Baltimore traffic? Charlie planted them there. Its a conspiracy I tell ya.

Greatful for a free trip yes... Agreed... However upset and angry because of travel arangments that could have been made a little differntly and better for the same price.... We are on no sleep from this adventure and are forced to play for the title tonight minus 3 guys since they broke down on the 2 and a half hour ride to baltimore... So sorry if I seem un greatful...

Dude I love a free trip and road trips, I think all the high seeds shhould get home games... Also I like going to colorado, but traveling 4 and a half hours sucks, I think that we should have been given an amount per player then anything above that we could have paid the difference... Just a thought its going to be hard to play 2 night on no sleep in the 2 biggest games of the season...

Actually coach, that's not the complaint... You should read into it more... You'd be happy not sleeping for 2 days and then having to play... Did I say charlie planted cars there, you should read more, I said that a little better planning would have been nice that was the point... But thanks for the tears

Well with my terrible play this season all I have left to do is complain I guess...
i'm not slow, i'm patient
...and the guys would have payed it? then you would be complaining that the trip wasn't free. i'm sure the league did what it could to fit the budget and get you guys out there with no cost of your own. bill, you're my boy but this whole everyone hates the growl s&*$ is getting real old. congrats on the win but lay off the league or just don't play.

Hey steve, yeah man I know me and ray would have paid, I don't have a gripe with paying for anything and the trip being free is a bonus, 100% the rink was awesome, the scenery was great, the bar was even better... I have no gripe with the league, cause I wouldn't play if it was that big of a deal to me, by far is the only true league for everyone to play in at this level... I was ticked off cause I didn't sleep at all, it was a dumb post, ill admit it.... See you in marple next weekend
