Looking at the East matchups, I believe the rink where the games are being played will have an impact on the results. If the playoffs were at the Lunatics rink, like it was last year, I would pick them to upset the Typhoon in three. Since the games are at the Inferno's rink, I pick the Typhoon to sweep in two. As for the Growl/Minutemen series, I think I'll be able to tell you more after this weekends regular season finale against them. I will say that I believe we are the more talented team, but having lost twice to the Minutemen this year, I'll be the first to say, that talent doesn't always win hockey games. Good luck to all the other teams, I'll be sure to give all of you updates from Colorado in a few weeks, oops!! did I say that...lol

Im gonna go out on a limb and take the Tics in three. they've won 3 of the last 4 against the Typhoon and im betting on a big yokes performance.
Out west its not even certain who is in the playoffs yet. Tough to bet against either CJ or Brian, but im gonna call the Fire the dark horse and take them because of their goaltending which seems to be the best.

I will say the Growl in three over the Minutemen. I think it would be crass to predict our series, so I will just say the team with the perforated wheels for the "ice court" wins the Tics/Typhoon matchup.
When you lose say little. When you win say less.

Flynn, it must really bother you that your team dropped 2 games this year to such a weak and untalented team.

i'm not going to make any predictions. i think all 4 teams in the east have a shot. should be some good games. the Growl are a tough team but the minutemen have beat them twice this year. the Typhoon are a very talented team but i also have confidence in our guys. Don't count anybody out

Wow, talk about trying to stir the pot to motivate your team. I only remember Flynn and everyone else saying how scary it is to play a team that works as hard as you guys do. I don't remember anyone saying that you have a weak team. I will say that we are always upset when we lose, just like anyone with pride would be, however I'm sure that we can live with the losses in the regular season, as long as we win all the time in the playoffs. I look forward to seeing you guys this weekend.

I guess u didn't read Flynn's latest article on the PIHA site. "Lunatics a much tougher and talented team" is a pretty ignorant statement, especially since we dropped 4, 1 goal games to them in their building. Jimmy, you have written a few posts on this board giving our team some credit, so don't take my post to heart in any way. I wasn't braggin about the 2 wins either, I just wanted to take a shot back at Flynn for taking a shot at our team. I am looking forward to playing you guys again, their will be some great hockey on display.
