Equipment Manufacturers @ League Registration

L&G:

I am running the roller hockey program at the new facility here in State College, PA, appropriately dubbed "Penn Skates."

Since State College shops barely stock any roller hockey equipment, I am curious to know if any equipment manufacturer's reps are able and willing to bring a truckload of equipment to our Fall Registration.

Has anyone done anything similar? Pros and Cons?

Flip Side, if the shops don't carry the gear why would a rep want to come out and spend his time selling his line when they can't buy it in his territory?

Get the retailers off their collective asses and have them bring the reps out to show the stuff while they take the orders..knowing what's in stock and what can be delivered in time without jeopardizing the season.k

If they pass, the retailers, tie yourself in with an online retailer where you get a comission of the sales or set % from the orders, you did all the work, now reap the reward. Unless your a trust fund kid, the $ doesn't hurt.
