An official welcome from the board to Jimmy Vivona (#99 of Every team!!) when he retires the #99 should never be worn by another roller hockey player again (I'm sick of hearing up here, ..."yeah from 99") This guy has done it all though...from RHI to MLRH, from Torhs to Narch, Mens to Pro to over 38!! Now - PIHA Champ, All-Star again and hopefully more this year. My best to Jimmy!!! Any way I was bored and I'm out of work and popped on here as I do every night and decided to give my .02 about Jimmy V.!!! I know we all knock him but hey if we didn;t make fun we wouldn't really like the guy - right?!.....well here goes

"#99"
a poem about Jimmy V.

From great wisdom and speeches, to the passes he preaches
On the mark with all his passes, tape to tape he pleases
Give'em and take'em, (lol) what assists he gives
Sometimes he takes shots at the sieves
Just give him the puck, "quickly" he said
So opponents think he'll skate, but that's in your head
For he's older than dirt, some people say
From his weird accent some thought he was gay
From New York he comes down the turnpike
With his buddy Meaty, wait is this right
He's a longtime married guy, with a great hockey wife
The refs keep tellin' him to getta life
Maybe its points, maybe its assists
However he got'em he's at the top of the lists
Through all the BS he's a guy who's mighty fine
and will always be "From 99"

Thank you for your version of a classy welcome, Adam. The poem is a classic, though I can't get the disturbing image of you pleasuring yourself while you talk about what you believe is a gay N.Y. accent. All kidding aside, you know that I've always said there isn't a more knowledgeable historian of our sport than you. One day the Roller Hockey Hall of Fame will be something that is looked at in high regard, and all of the pioneers of the sport will be rememberd because of you, and that's something that all the players should thank you for in advance. I look forward to seeing you at the PIHA all-star game, if you plan on coming.

somewhere in that poem should have been a line about his dead money poker skills.
