I've got 8-y-o kids playing on ice, and since it's a long drive to the rink, they (& I) want to play inline on asphalt in the cul-de-sac to keep building on the skating skills.
Which skates to buy? They are on decent ccm ice skates, which fit well.

If the CCM ice skates fit well, I would say stick with CCM's for inline. You would just need to put outdoor (hard) wheels on them.

I can't tell you a thing about kids' skates, but based on my experience (see below question about wide feet) I'd say almost the opposite of the last poster: the CCM Vectors (roller) are made on a much narrower last than Tacks (ice), although I'd say the fit in the heel is very similar.

I'd like to stick with CCM, since the 452 skates fit them well. Any particular jr model to recommend? Also type of wheels?
Thx for the help!

im using junior skates ( im 14 with a small foot) and i use mission helio 150s it works great for me, and has ankle supporters on the inside, the colors of my skates are black, grey, and red, and the wheels im using are stock since i can't hockey stop that great yet and everything works great for me, bearings and wheels are more than decent and the boot is comfortable.
