Gladiators?

What happened to the Philadelphia Gladiators this past weekend. We had a game scheduled with them Saturday night in Hartford and as far as we knew they were showing up with a team (or part of a team at least). Nobody showed up and we did not receive any phone calls saying they were not coming other than the calls from the league on Friday that said they would be showing up with a skeleton crew. We were stuck with turning away 100 spectators and with a 350.00 rink rental fee.

Well as i cannot speak for the entire team, i had a family wedding this weekend and wasnt going to be there regardless. But as far as no one knowing JJ called me friday and expressed unhappiness over leaving Hartford this way after he heard they had givin away tix to kids and others. I know a day is not sufficent enough time but ive seen this more than once before. I will say in defense of my team that the schedule came out and most of us dont surf the net more than once a week. Also we have made every other trip asked of us this year, VA, DC, and Carolina. Now this doesnt excuse us but it does say that we do travel and havent cancelled any of our games, home or away. Now im leaving for Tennessee and wont be back for 3 days so if i dont get back to everyones posts that why.
