Hi up to now I have been using a nike zytel stick to play with (yes I know it is a cheapy). I broke it today while practicing my slap shot. It snapped in the middle of my lower had. Today is tuesday and I am playing on friday which means I need a new stick really soon. The most I can spend is around $110 US which is about $150 Aus. At the very most I could stretch it to $200 Aus if the stick is really good. Does anyone know of a really good stick. I would prefer it to be light and durable. I am 15 186cm and around 65kg. Keep in mind when suggesting that a Easton Z-Carbon is around $100 is Australia. Any suggestions?

Tour Beemer..just slightly heavier than the original Easton one piece, but significantly less expensive, good balance, only blade is Modano curve..pretty durable. available in 85 - 90 flex and 95 - 105 flex ranges.

Hi ShadowMaster77,

See if you can find an old cheap wooden stick. If you score a bunch of goals with it, maybe you'll start a new trend, and chicks will start liking guys with beer guts, there will be no such thing as light beer and the Toronto Maple Leafs will once again win the Stanley Cup. It's worth a try. /wtimages/icons/wink.gif

Richard...speaking of sticks....don't pull too hard on that "joy stick"....you might strain something.../wtimages/icons/cool.gif

Hi Mike,

I think you're right. That joy stick is connected to the beer keg. /wtimages/icons/cool.gif
