Boston Storm 15, Hartford Thunder 6. Close at the half, Hartford 5, Boston 4, but 2nd half belonged to the Storm.

Dont forget to mention you didnt hire any refs and had 1 ref that was at the rink hanging out who has never reffed before. He gave a guy a 5min major and tossed him for a slash that was called a spear.

And a protest has been filed??? For these reasons listed above??

I hope my new pads came with that 30 save guarantee they promised!!

Stop your complaining....last I checked the ref didn't put 15 goals in your net. Also you might want to check the scoresheet...the Storm had more penaltys than your Thunder. You got slapped...deal with it. Everyone catches a good beaten every now and then. Don't try and make some *censored* up and take away from 9 guys...ya 9 guys that played balls to the wall. I didn't see anything on this board when you guys beat us earlier in the season thanks to your little buddy the ref and the 4 on 2 for 5 minutes he gave you guys causing the Storm to lose. Did we bitch? Not that I remember. Did we bitch when your little buddy, your home ref. came to Boston for the playoffs 2 years ago. Let me remind you Storm 33 penaltys, Thunder 5 over two games. With the exception of a couple offsides plays..which ever ref in this league blows, the guy made every call he should have. You guys took us lightly because we had none of our top players: Jeff Goulet, Tony Silvestri, Brian Fluery and a few others and got caught with your pants down. You guys have a great team over there and quite frankly its embarrassing to see you complain over a 15 to 6 game.

Thats is correct yokes. The teams agreed before the game to go with 1 ref. All in all he did a pretty good job. Neither team can say that the ref caused them to lose. The Storm outplayed the Thunder this time. Like D said in the prior post if there was ever a protestable game it would have been either of the playoff games 2 years ago and the Storm did not protest.

Bottom line here is the Storm outplayed the Thunder, the ref had nothing to do with it. These two teams will meet again, so we will see how it goes.

Plain and simple, Boston outplayed us and gave us a beating.

We did hire that ref. We was called ahead of time and not just hanging around the rink. The other ref was held up and unable to make it. Both teams agreed to play with the one ref. Had the Thunder won the game, would you still be complaining? Bill was called after the game requesting the protest. The Thunder rep said they had a ref ready to go. That ref they had ready to go was their back-up goalie. They wanted him to undress, and then put on a ref shirt. Yea, okay.

Ive seen another team do that this season... used a guy as a ref, dressed him the next game, and then used him as a ref again the following game and he screwed us hard including a missed boarding call that damn near ended the life of one of our guys. Something has to be done about the refs without a doubt, whether we see a change or not, who knows..there's a lot that needs to change and not much has

Yea, including guys who say they are going to be there for a game, and then bag it leaving a team shorthanded. No offense Ying.

It's a shame because the talent is there, espcially this season!! i have only seen the north teams play, but they are all highly skilled teams... i dunno much bout the league except that it looks a little unorganized behind the scenes... this season all the teams have shown up, with plenty of guys... this is a huge step up from years past, where teams wouldn't show and only come with 4 guys.

I thnk all of the franchises have really made a good effort to produce good hockey for the league and fans, i just think all of the behind the scenes stuff needs to be taken care of to make the games even better for these teams!

i'm not slow, i'm patient

So perhaps those teams should consider coming to an organized league.

We'd be more than happy to start a Boston franchise in PIHA. I know alot of the guys around here would like to play in a non-check competitive league. We would probably have enough to make two teams up here. If you could get the guys from Conn. too I'm sure they could make a few teams also. Giving us guys way up here atleast 3 other local teams to play against cutting our traveling down alittle. Funny I was actually talking about this tonight with a friend who runs a league up here in Boston.

Who would we have to contact to get any info we'd need to put a team or teams in PIHA next season? I'll talk to the Hartford guys too but I don't think they like me to much right now but I'll throw it out there anyway Saturday.

I can work with Hartford sorta through Johnny. You'd have to contact Charlie Yoder or Mark Hausmann. I will PM you their contact info.
