Christmas time is special, being with our family and friends
But we can't wait to get to the rink to use our new sticks, skates and pads,

For we are inline players, hoping for the newest gear or latest wheel or painted up mask
So forget about a list, our families know us by now, they need not ask

To make us better, quicker, faster and cooler, it's equipment we seek
To pull out of our bags and show off at our game next week

So close your eyes real tight before bed Christmas eve night
And hope Santa didn't forget to cut your stick just right

So I'll see you at the rink before our next game
And hope the new shirts we got, aren't the same

To all my hockey friends from Sheffield to Florida, from Chicago to Cali
I wish nothing but the best for you and your family
