I want need new skates - I want to try something besides Mission- I will spend $299- any recommendations between the 3
I was thinking -RBK 6, Nike hi- ho silver 2 or Tour code e-2
looking for comfort and performance, bang for your buck.\

I have always liked Nike, they are comfortable and responsive (for me). I haven't actually tried the oneup chassis yet though I read somewhere that for the first 15minutes it feels like your skates on a lean backwards but it eventually feels normal. I would get the hihos 2

Did you consider the CCM Vectors PF8?

If you do not want Mission, you may want to consider the Vectors.

Do you feel the vectors are better then the RBK or NIKE??

A lot of guys I know bought the Vectors on price, but they haven't lasted very long.
What boots you go for depends on your foot shape, if any skate fits you well it will perform.
If you have wide feet & Big ankles go with Tour, some where in the middle go with RBK/Vectors or if you have thinner ankles go with the Nike because you can get them really tight around the ankle.....
But personally get the new Missions cos they are awaesome.

Just go to your local hockey shop, and try as many pairs on as you can (almost try and ignore the brand and see what feels the best).

"Do you feel the vectors are better then the RBK or NIKE??"

I have flat narrow feet, so for me they felt fine.

I just picked up the new Mission 10,000 Quatros and could not be happier.

I had the PF8s and I thought they were awesome skates. I recently picked up the 8Ks and they feel unbelieveable. Can't wait to skate in them. The major diffrences between the 8Ks and 6Ks would obviously be the lining, wheels and bearings. I have hobbit feet as well and they fit great.

The 10,000's are the best roller hockey boot ever made, with out a doubt.

The rest of the mission range is better than most of the other top end skates from the other companies......
And no I am not paid to say that before any one asks. I hated Mission gear for a long time because it just fell to pieces, but the new range is sweet as a nut.

Thanks for everyone's advise-
I am still unsure because my local hockey shop only has mission and Nike-

I tried the Hi Ho's and liked them, but I am still hearing great things about the ccm pf10's and I havent heard much about the RBK 6's

has anyone tried all 3 and have an opinion? I would like the most for my money- I have D1's now and my feet hurt after a skate and my laces ( even though I have wax ) get loose often and I hate that.

I think comfort is #1 and quality

let me know

Thanks
